Programme Questions, Answered
Our Pre Badge programme is designed as a gentle introduction for our youngest dancers, with no experience required. Specific age ranges for each programme are being finalised — contact the studio directly and we'll recommend the right class for your child.
No. Examinations are encouraged at JJDC because they help build technique and confidence, but they are never compulsory — every dancer progresses at their own pace.
Not at all. Competition Teams are available for dancers who want that experience, but competitions are treated as opportunities for growth, not a requirement or a source of pressure.
It depends on the class — Hip Hop, and Freestyle, Jazz & Contemporary each have their own attire guidelines, and official JJDC apparel is required for exams, competitions, performances and travelling teams. See the full class attire guide above for details.
Yes — our Adult Jazz programme is designed specifically for adults looking for fitness, fun and confidence through dance, whatever their previous experience.
