Jo Jackson Dance Company ("JJDC," "we," "us") operates a dance studio at 8 Smartt Road, Nahoon, East London, 5201, South Africa, and this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, why, and how it's handled.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to give us directly, primarily through the enquiry form on the Contact page:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you choose to provide it
- Any message content you write, including details about your child or the programme you're interested in
We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated to reflect it.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry, provide information about classes and trial bookings, and communicate with you about your (or your child's) enrolment if you choose to proceed. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Third-party services
The enquiry form is processed using Formspree, a third-party form-delivery service, which receives the information you submit in order to email it to the studio. We do not control Formspree's own data handling beyond this delivery function; see Formspree's own privacy policy for details of how they process data in transit.
How long we keep your information
We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and, where you become a student, for the ongoing administration of your enrolment, or as required by law.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us through the Contact page or by phone on 082 925 4377.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
